Mientras uno podría pensar que la vida del músico auto-gestionado es un lecho de rosas o el paraíso...la realidad nos lleva a una cafetería, de una conocida cadena internacional, tomando un café, escribiendo en una laptop prestada (olvidé la mía) y modificando esta página web para que se lea mejor y se entienda. Esto me lleva a pensar que un sábado por la mañana uno podría estar durmiendo, viendo otras cosas o hablando con otro ser humano (sin una pantalla de por medio). Pero hay un extraño placer, el de estar haciendo esto para que otro lo lea, por una motivación casi ego-maníaca de comunicar una idea, un pensamiento, un recuerdo que, de forma directa o indirecta contribuye y/o contribuyó a la música que está publicada en este sitio. A mi entender, mucho de la "auto-gestión" viene de momentos como este y de la necesidad de tratar de llevar la producción personal (o la obra propio) a otro nivel acercándola/promocionándola/publicándola de forma directa, sin intermediarios.
While you think that self-managed musician's life is a comfortable place to be... the reality leads us to a coffee store of well-known international chain, having a coffee, writing on a borrowed laptop (I forgot mine) and modifying this website for it´s best read and understanding. This leads me to believe that a Saturday morning one could be sleeping, watching other things or talking to another human being (without a screen in between). But there is a strange pleasure, to be doing this for others to read, likes an ego-maniac to communicate an idea, a thought, a memory that directly or indirectly contribute and / or contributed to the creative process of the music published on this site. In point of view, much of the "self-management" is created from moments like this and the need to try to bring the self production (or work itself) to another level pulling / promoting it / posting it to other directly, without intermediaries.
